What we worked on
Three themes ran through the work.
Digitalization of engineering information
We turned engineering documents and data into structured, searchable information. The focus was on quality, completeness and the data that mattered most.
Digital twins and asset information
We worked on asset information management and digital twin initiatives in oil & gas, energy and EPC projects: one reliable source for plant data and documents.
Handover and data quality
We worked on the handover from EPC projects to operations: information requirements, validation and classification, so data arrived complete and consistent.
Today: how AI can make plant and project data usable
A point of view, shared as ideas.
- Most plant data already exists. It sits in documents, tag lists and spreadsheets that rarely agree.
- AI is useful when it reads that material, links it to tags and assets, and points out gaps and conflicts.
- It works best on top of clear information standards. Structure comes first; AI makes it faster to reach.
- People stay in charge of decisions. The goal is data an engineer can find and trust.
